9/12/2010 Valbin Wins Multi-Million Dollar Contract to Provide Insurgent Role Players and Special Battlefield Effects Replication to the National Training Center (NTC), Fort Irwin, CA
Valbin Corporation will provide full spectrum exercise support operations for approximately ten rotations in the next year at Fort Irwin, CA.  Valbin will offer cultural awareness training to US troops preparing for deployment to combat operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.  Valbin’s team includes management, linguist role players who act as Afghan or Iraqi insurgents in their traditional clothing, amputee role players, moulage artists who apply casualty effects, and licensed battlefield effects pyrotechnicians who altogether offer realism to the NTC exercises and training scenarios. 

7/6/2010 Valbin to Provide 30 Civilians on the Battlefield at Ft. McCoy, WI
Valbin Corporation Mission Readiness Support Services has been awarded a contract to provide 30 Civilians on the Battlefield to support cultural training exercises at Ft. McCoy, WI from July 14 - 27, 2010.  This exercise will focus on cultural immersion in the Caucasus region, specifically Azerbaijan.

6/28/2010 Valbin to Provide 2 Sign Language Interpreters at Ft. Belvoir, VA
Valbin Corporation Deaf Culture and Sign Language Services has been awarded a contract by the Department of Defense to provide 2 Sign Language interpreters for an 11 day event held at Ft. Belvoir, VA from August 16-August 27, 2010.

5/12/2010 Valbin to Provide 200 Personnel in Support of Cultural Training at Camp Edwards
Valbin Corporation Mission Readiness Support Services has been awarded a contract to provide 200 personnel including Pashto/Dari Foreign Language Speakers (FLS) role players, Arabic Foreign Language Speaker role players and Drivers and Civilians on the Battlefield (COB) at Camp Edwards, MA from June 2 - June 22, 2010.  Valbin will also provide all set decoration for the villages used during training and will create scenes such as a mosque and a farmer's market. In addition, Valbin will provide moulage experts to apply fake wounds to COBs and National Guard soldiers and over 40 vehicles to transport COBs and FLS.  Valbin's cultural training allows soldiers to experience real world scenarios and receive critical training in a controlled environment before their deployment into Iraq or Afghanistan.

5/3/2010 Valbin to Provide 150 Civilian Role Players at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center
Valbin Corporation will return to Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC), IN to supply 150 Civilian Role Players for a second iteration of mass casualty preparedness training exercises from July 12 - July 20, 2010. Soldiers will be trained to respond to major events in a civilian environment that result in multiple injuries and casualties. Mock decontamination units and the application of moulage to Role Players will add a sense of realism and urgency to the training.

4/30/2010 Valbin to Provide 46 Arabic Foreign Language Speakers at West Point
Valbin Corporation Mission Readiness Support Services has been awarded a contract to provide 46 Arabic Foreign Language Speaker role players at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY from May 24 - June 13, 2010. Role players will portray Iraqi villagers in culturally specific training scenarios and will also lead small group discussions on Iraqi life and culture with the participating soldiers.

4/22/2010 Valbin to Provide 20 Pashto Foreign Language Speakers at Ft. Hunter- Liggett
Valbin Corporation Mission Readiness Support Services has been awarded a contract to provide 20 Pashto speaking Foreign Language Speaker (FLS) role players to support pre-deployment training exercises at Ft. Hunter-Liggett, CA June 15 - June 25, 2010.  FLS will enact Subject Matter Expert designed scenarios to prepare participating troops for deployment to Afghanistan.  This specific cultural training program will allow soldiers to immerse in Afghan culture and to practice negotiation skills and the use of interpreters prior to deployment.

4/13/2010 Valbin to attend Transportation Security Fair
Valbin Corporation has been invited to attend a small business Transportation Security Fair hosted by the Transportation Security Administration.  This exclusive conference will take place in Arlington, VA on April 27 and will be attended by TSA program managers, contracting officers and contracting specialists looking to connect with small businesses that specialize in professional services and training.

3/31/2010 USAID awards contract for Sign Language interpretation services to Valbin
Valbin Corporation Deaf Culture and Sign Language Services  has been awarded a multi-year contract for Sign Language Interpretation Services at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). All services will be provided at USAID's headquarters in Washington, D.C. for the Office of Financial Management and Office of Travel and Transportation. The period of performance is for one base year and 4 option years.

3/16/2010 Valbin to Provide 2 Sign Language Interpreters for CAP Training event
Valbin Corporation Deaf Culture and Sign Language Services  has been awarded a contract by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs) and the TRICARE Management Activity's [OASD(HA)/TMA] Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP) to provide 2 Sign Language Interpreters  for a  three day training event from April 27 - April 29, 2010.

3/3/2010 Marine Corps Base Quantico awards contract to Valbin for  Sign Language Services
Valbin Corporation Deaf Culture and Sign Language Services has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Marine Corps to provide 2 Sign Language interpreters for a weeklong family educational event held at Quantico, VA from March 8 - March 12, 2010.

2/24/2010 Valbin to Provide Sign Language interpreters for two DOI FWS training events
Valbin Corporation Deaf Culture and Sign Language Services  has been awarded two contracts through the Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) office in Minneapolis, MN to provide Sign Language interpreters at two training events. The first event is an FWS Collateral Duty Safety Officer OSHA Training Class from March 8 - March 12, 2010 and the second is a FWS HabITS Version 4 Training Class from April 7 - April 8, 2010. Both events will be held at Fort Snelling, MN.
